As a People Manager, you’ll be making key recommendations on best practices, responsible for employee compliance and onboarding/offboarding, and being a mentor to the HR executive and delegating responsibilities where necessary. You are motivated to offer excellent support to employees at all levels, you must also desire to help maintain the excellent work environment and employee culture at PolicyPal.
Responsibilities will include:
Run the quarterly culture survey and assist with the analytics, help identify key areas of focus for the following quarter
Own the Onboarding and Offboarding activities to ensure a strong experience for candidates and employees
Own the learning and development platform to ensure people development stays in front of mind and accessible
Stay up to date with current and future employment and data protection regulations and implement appropriately across the business
Handle employee relations issues as they arise and provide support and advice to Leadership when needed
Work with providers of benefits, payroll and other resources to assure employee needs are met and records and documentation are up to date
Champion company culture and employee engagement practices to align with company goals
Required Skills:
At least 2 years of experience as a People Manager
Able to think critically, analyze and interpret data to support initiatives
Discrete and place high amount of value on confidentiality and professionalism
Strong desire to build relationships, work as a team, keep a positive attitude and embody the values of PolicyPal
Motivated, curious and ambitious to grow in your career and with the People team
Experience with working in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
