Instructional Designer Contract Job4 months ago - Training - Singapore - 234 views
We're interested to speak with talented individuals who would like the flexibility of working with us on a freelance / per-project basis.
The job role is to design and develop digital learning content for ArcLab's Enterprise customers using our web-based Nano Learning platform (https://builder.arclab.io).
Learning content comes from our Enterprise customer organisations' HR / L&D / subject-matter experts, so your role is not to create content, but to translate all of these into our Nano Learning format.
The key goal is to facilitate Enterprise customer organisations' staff to acquire knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner, through ArcLab's tool.
You can work from anywhere, though we'd request you at least join the initial meeting with the customer to establish contact.
Ideally you have current or previous teaching / pedagogy design background.
You know how to engage learners (or anyone!) with creative, effective methods of content delivery.
You have knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
You can communicate well with various parties to put the learning content together.
(Optional [though preferred]) You can do simple design work, with knowledge of visual design tools.
You desire to help the world learn better.
You are very healthily curious.
You are eager to understand how things around you work, even if that sometimes means breaking things in the process.
You have team-spirit, humility and a desire to learn and stand up for what's right
A CV / website will be great but most of all we'd like you to try our tool and see if you like what we've built.
Go to https://builder.arclab.io, and build an ArcLab nano learning module about yourself. Then send it to us via your unique web-link. Include contact details (your email works best, and it'll be great to see a personal website!) so we can get back to you.
We're waiting to hear from you!
